PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Virtual Arts Academy facilitates the Creative and Arts agenda for Rochdale Borough Children’s Services and its partner agencies. The main aim of the Virtual Arts Academy website is bring together local artists and schools to enrich their arts curriculum. The website utilises a large database of artists which schools can search by a variety of methods to find the right artist (visual or performing) to suit their particular project. Once schools have fulfilled their arts project they can then use the website to showcase their results and tell everyone about the benefits of using artists in schools. It’s a great concept and something we’re proud to be involved in.
